Three Centuries of Red + White Quilts

On Display from May 21 Through September 27, 2016

Curator Virginia Berger has gathered thirty traditional and innovative quilted works in the classic red-and-white color combination from all over the United States, including a Double Wedding Ring by popular national quilter Victoria Findlay Wolfe. Also on display are pieced, appliquéd, and embroidered quilts from the 1800s, sampler quilts from the 1900s, and modern medallions made just last year by well-known Iowa designers Marianne Fons and Tony Jacobson.
