Quilts of Valor quilts made for service men and women who have served our country in any capacity, as well as a selection of baby quilts made for the NICU at Mercy Hospital and Blank Children’s Hospital will also be on display. Visitors may also be able to find some bargain fabric or quilting supplies in the garage sale.

Waste Not, Want Not

New Exhibit opening October 16th at the IQM

Resourceful quilters have a long history of making artistic quilts utilizing the smallest scraps and efficient piecing methods—adhering to the philosophy of “waste not, want not.” This exhibit is curated by Virginia Berger of Adel, Iowa. The Iowa Quilt Museum will be closed on Monday, October 15th, for exhibit hanging. Yes, we hang a new exhibit in just ONE day!

Book the Iowa Quilt Museum for a Guild Presentation
