Presenting: MAN MADE
Now on (virtual) display at the Iowa Quilt Museum
Curated by quilter and designer Tony Jacobson, this exhibit showcases quilts made by men, both contemporary and historical.
The idea of this exhibit is to show more than just wonderful quilts, but to explore the various reasons that draw men into quilting now and in the past. Quilts have been loaned for this exhibit by Ricky Tims, Scott Hansen, Jack Edson, Bill Kerr, Mike Ellingsen, and Erick Wolfmeyer among several others.
Until we’re able to re-open to the public, and welcome you here at the IQM, we’re working hard to bring the quilts to you! Last Wednesday, we gave a preview of the exhibit on Facebook Live. If you missed it, you can watch it below!
We plan to go LIVE on Facebook again this Wednesday.
If you don’t follow us yet on Facebook, check us out HERE.

Support the IQM, support artists, find treasures!

We’ve recently added several more items from our gift shop to our online store! With each purchase you’ll be supporting the Iowa Quilt Museum and, since many of our items are made by local quilters and artisans, your support will extend to them as well! Right now, shipping is just $5 on all orders.

Thank you for the virtual visits. I am missing not being able to travel so this is a great way to see the exhibits. Keep up the good work!
