We’re thrilled to invite you to our second Share Your Stash Quilting Sale, a fundraising event to support the endeavors of the Iowa Quilt Museum.
A Unique Gathering of Quilting Treasures: Donate and Discover
By generously donating high-quality quilting fabrics, notions, tools, and related supplies from your personal collections, you’ll help create an exciting shopping experience for fellow quilting enthusiasts eager to expand their fabric collections.
Donate Your Stash: Share the Love
To ensure the success of Share Your Stash, we warmly welcome donations of quilting fabrics, notions, tools, and related supplies. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in curating upcoming exhibits and supporting the sustainability of the Iowa Quilt Museum.
Items to consider for donation:
- Odor-free fabric
- Gently used books
- Gently used tools
- Quilting rulers
- Working sewing machines
- Scraps no smaller than 2.5″ x 2.5″
- Odor-free Orphan blocks
Drop off your donations at the Iowa Quilt Museum by October 6, 2024! If you need assistance or reside further away, feel free to mail your donations to us at 68 E Court Ave, Winterset, IA 50273.
We also extend our assistance for quilting estates. Should you wish to donate an entire quilting estate, we’d be delighted to arrange pick-up (within a reasonable distance) at your convenience. Additionally, we’re pleased to offer a tax deduction for your generous contribution.

The second Thursday of every month!
We’re hosting a free Stitch In At The Museum to bring together fellow creators. Bring any project that doesn’t require a machine and pull a chair up to the table.
This event is FREE!! No need to register just show up and stitch with us!
