Join us for a fun and inspiring day trip from the Iowa Quilt Museum to the International Quilt Museum (IQM-NE) in Lincoln, Nebraska! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride aboard a comfortable Windstar Lines motorcoach—with games and prizes on the bus to kick off the adventure.
While at the IQM-NE, participants will enjoy a guided tour of the main galleries, a behind-the-scenes look at storage and preservation areas, and free time to explore the smaller galleries and the museum gift shop at your own pace. Lunch at the museum is included.
The tour also includes stops at two favorite quilt shops—Cosmic Cow in Lincoln and Celtic Quilter in Omaha—making this a must-do day for quilt lovers.

ITINERARY
- 6:30 am – Iowa Quilt Museum open for viewing our current exhibit – In Flanders Fields The Poppies Grow: Cherrywood Quilt Challenge and Quilts of Valor Quilts
- 7:00 am – Bus departs Winterset
- 10:30 am – Arrive International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, NE
- 11:30 am – Lunch at the IQM-NE (included in cost)
- 2:30 – Depart IQM-NE, visit Cosmic Cow quilt shop in Lincoln
- 4:00 – Depart Lincoln for Omaha
- 5:00 – Arrive Omaha, visit Celtic Quilter quilt shop, dinner on own
- 7:00 – Depart Omaha
- 9:00 Arrive in Winterset; IQM reopens for optional exhibit viewing.
